Loved it from the moment we entered, strongly recommend this place. Had a very pleasant stay with our pet, we spent 2 nights here, everything was great. The hotel had indeed a quiet location to have an evening meal in the restaurant...

We had a family room, comprised of two ordinary rooms connected by a door - perfect. Nice size of rooms, small but adequate bathroom. Complimentary breakfast was ok, although somewhat basic. Situated in industrial region at the outskirts of Varde, around 2km from Center, a car is needed to get into town. We visited family, living 1km from the hotel, which is very convenient.

Rooms were comfortable, breakfast simple but nice. Well located for short drive into Varde.
Kitchen pots and pans could have been cleaner.

Spoiler alert, it's worth it!
The convenience of parking right outside my room was a huge plus. The wifi worked perfectly, and the room had a comfortable queen bed and ample kitchen amenities. Breakfast was decent, although a bit limited. Just be prepared for some noise from the surroundings.

great access to charming parks and amazing landmarks nearby
I appreciated how easy it was to walk to Varde Sondre Plantage, less than a 5-minute walk away, and enjoy the peaceful nature. It's a quick stroll of almost 2 km to see the excellent St Jacobi Church as a solo traveler.

Close to Esbjerg but not at the sea port. A good close distance to travel to get become confident again on continental roads.
Varde turned out to be a quiet small town having a continental centre with the usual mix of shops and cafés.

Non availability of food. We arrived at 7:00 P.M. to be advised that meals had to be ordered before 4:00 pm. There are virtually no restauarants in Varde itself.

Location was convenient for exploring the area with good links to places of interest.
Perhaps a little more variety for breakfast

We enjoyed hiking trails nearby and even tried our luck fishing. The free WiFi was reliable, and the breakfast kept us fueled. The queen bed was a comfortable surprise, and the free parking made it easy to explore the area. Definitely worth it for a short trip!
The only downside was that our room got pretty warm because there was no AC. Opening the window let in some noise from outside, made sleeping a bit tough.

The room was clean, comfortable, and adequately furnished for my business needs. I appreciated the free Wi-Fi, which worked perfectly throughout my stay. The convenient outdoor access to my room was a plus.
The noise from the industrial area was quite disruptive at times.
